1. Welcome address, apologies, approval of the minutes of the previous meeting in Riga and adoption of the agenda (Ana Paula Pais)

Ana Paula welcomed the audience and highlighted the importance of these gatherings in exchanging ideas and fostering friendships. By vote, the audience approved the minutes from Riga and the agenda of this year’s GA unanimous.

2. Report from AEHT President (Ana Paula Pais)

  • Ana Paula explained the role of the Youth President. The election was held during the Youth Parliament 2025 in Bjelovar, where Geronimo Plein from Luxembourg was elected.
  • The GA is also the venue where members can present their activities and share competitions of international interest.

3. Report from the Vice Presidents:

3.1. PPP Report (Paolo Aprile):

On the 29th of Oktober 2025 there was an important meeting at the European Parlement in Brussels with Italian EU representative
Mr Fito to promote the AEHT activities. Vice-Presidents Remco Koerts and Paolo Aprile represented the AEHT.
PA presented the AEHT Professional Partners, their role and importance for the AEHT.
Companies can submit their interest to join our association to the board of the AEHT.

3.2. IT Report (Neeme Rand):

Overview of IT development since 1999. AEHT database is now on its 6th platform. Schools must update their data and can add more teachers to the mailing list so that everyone in our partner schools is well-informed about the AEHT activities.

3.3. Competitions Report (Remco Koerts):

465 students participated. New competition added: Bakery. This competition is in the pilot phase. Updated general competition rules are published. In this document a sperate section is dedicated to the role of AEHT Head Judge.

3.4. AEHT Webinars (Romain Raoul & Noel Murray):

Plan to keep webinars online. The audience is invited to propose topics or keynote speakers.

4. Report on membership applications, resignations, and exclusions (Remco Koerts)

Presentation attached. Schools are excluded after 2 years of non-payment. Members were asked to share their PEPPOL Code or to register it on their AEHT Database. This helps to facilitate the sending of the yearly membership invoice.

5. Treasurer’s report (Remco Koerts)

High representation costs due to the purchase of medals for the next 4–5 years. The figures were presented in the attached document.

6. 2024 report of the Auditors and appointment of auditors for the financial year 2025

Report presented by Vera Cunha. Auditors: Ray Cullen and Vera Cunha. AEHT is financially stable, and its books are kept up to date correctly and professionally. The auditors recommend that the praesidium and the treasurer are discharged.
The audience unanimous approved the financial reports by voting.

7. Discharge for the members of the Presidium

The audience gave unanimous discharge to the Presidium by voting.

8. Closing of the mandate 2021–2025 (Ana Paula Pais)

Thanks to Paolo Aprile and Noel Murray for their contributions. Standing ovation for PA. APP thanked all members and the board for their support and their friendship during her mandate.

9. Signing Partnership with Casa della Divisa

The partnership was signed between the AEHT and Cas della Divisa by Mrs Ana Paula Pais and Marco Esposto.

10. Confirmation of the election 2025

APP explained the election process, which involved six proposals for 5 seats. 33 National Representatives participated.
Countries without NR: Germany, Finland, Poland, Denmark, Iceland, UK.
By vote, the audience unanimously approved the new EB, Presidium, and AEHT President Mr Remco Koerts.
Newly elected Presidium members introduced themselves. (Mrs Kristi Tarik from Estonia, Mr Massimiliano Urbinati from Italy,
Mr Marcus Hallgren from Sweden besides the re-elected Vice Presidents Mr Romain Raoul, Mrs Ana Paula Pais and the new elected President Remco Koerts from The Netherlands)

16. Speech from the newly elected president, Remco Koerts

RK thanks the audience for their trust in him to be the new president of the AEHT.
He gave a short overview of his ideas for his 2nd mandate as the president of the AEHT, he strongly believes in the work and
cooperation between our members to offer an excellent platform for our students.
